WHAT IS BLACK FRIDAY?

The day after Thanks giving (fourth Thursday of November) is know to be black Friday, it is basically the starting day of the Christmas shopping season starting, stores, malls, showrooms and many retailer shops give very high discount to the customers and this year black Friday was held on November 23rd ,2018 which was actually a very heavy and a rush day in the sates of US.

WHY IT IS CALLED BLACK FRIDAY?

The first when this word Black Friday applied to the day after Thanksgiving in a shopping context suggests that the term used first in Philadelphia, where it was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic that would occur on the day after Thanksgiving, which then made a trend and in recent years it became one of the trending word in terms of profit due to the fact that this is the most busiest day of shopping in a year called to be Black Friday.

HEAVY SALES AND SHOPPING

On the night of Thanksgiving ,some shops open at midnight 12 am on the day of black Friday who offer high discounts due to the that the weekend becomes a four day week end as including the Thanksgiving day so that more and more people buy more things which definitely profit the retailers, showrooms and the sales.

The best part about it is that the 30 percent of the sales in a year happen between the Thanksgiving and the Christmas just imagine.

For retailers like jewelers and some show rooms it even more than 40 percent which is almost approximately we can say 50 percent of their sales happen in the month of December and the last week of November.

And it is expected that there will be an increase of more than 30 percent crowd this year as the black Friday weekend is on.
